What was wrong with Kwasi Kwarteng at the Queen’s funeral?
Hi @BBCNews @Telegraph @TheSun just wondering why you haven’t got round to the sorry about the chancellor seemingly high and definitely muttering to himself and laughing at a state funeral? I assume it’s an oversight you’ll soon rectify.

It’s a valid question.
In case you haven’t seen what Kwasi Kwarteng was doing, it looks like this:
I was 20 years in the rock n roll business & I know high when I see it.

I reckon this could be the answer-
Has the BBC been told not to ask about #KwasiKwarteng at the Queen's Funeral?

– don’t you?
Even if it’s not true, the BBC will be prey to such accusations as long as it has a Tory on its board, responsible for “impartiality” (a euphemism if ever there was one).
So how about it, BBC? Why not kick Robbie Gibb off your board and run a proper investigation into Kwasi Kwarteng?

Absolutely bizarre behaviour at a funeral. Just a heads up – search Jonathan Freedland in The Guardian and you will find an article (or it could be seen as him writing his own review!) of a play he has written for the Royal Court. You may find it interesting….. It was on the front page very briefly but then seemed to vanish and I had to search to find it again.
Forty years ago I was among pot smoking groups and people snorting lines and this behaviour doesn’t match up. I’ve also seen bi-polars off their meds, doesn’t quite fit either.
Worryingly it does fit schizophrenics – off their meds!
I made some, fairly innocuous, comments about the ‘Chancellor’s’ behaviour in The Guardian this morning and was immediately moderated. I am now being ‘pre-moderated’ even though John Crace and Marina Hyde have both mentioned the incident in their columns in The Guardian today!
