How much did Rishi Sunak’s embarrassing ‘Home Alone’ video cost?
It seems James Cleverly isn’t the only Tory politician to need artificial help in order to get close to an unwilling partner.
Rishi Sunak suffered clear difficulty cuddling Larry the Downing Street cat in a vanity video based on Home Alone:

I think the idea was to pretend that, while we’re all woofing it up in our freezing cold houses, stuffing ourselves on budget chicken, Sunak is still working around the clock for the Greater Good. What a lot of tripe, if that’s the truth of it.
The cat cuddle attracted a bit of media attention:

So did the product placement involving a wall of Coca-Cola cans. Sunak wouldn’t do that unless he had been paid by the company – right? How much do we think he would have received, if that was true?
But This Writer wonders whether these criticisms are merely distractions from the real question, which is:
How much public money – cash belonging to the UK as a nation – did Sunak waste on this vanity project?
What a f***ing waste of our money.
How about doing something useful with it – like helping the homeless? https://t.co/SPV5hXZbcK
