How do we know this is being pulled from facebook?
Some people have been asking this on the VP Facebook page. One commenter came back and said they’d had the image on theirs and now it was gone, so they believed the story. Check it out for yourself. The link to the FB page is at the bottom of every article.
Just uploaded on FB, so lets see……….
A vile human being (in the loosest sense of the term). If you haven’t heard it yet, go on youtube and search for the little piggie’s LBC interview. Utterly breathtaking in its dishonesty and outright mentalism.
if half the people on benefits are OAPs (retired) and 50% of benefits claimants are working it doesnt leave much room for anybody else. What percentage of your statistics are invented for political benefit?
I think Ms Yaqoob meant 50 per cent of the remainder. It’s quite easy to work out if you take into consideration the fact that she was probably quite angry when she made the comment. I noticed the error but left it there to see if anybody would pick up on it and what their reaction would be.
Now, if you’re asking about the percentage of my statistics that are invented for political benefit, the answer is none.
None of my statistics are invented.
It’s still not true that 25% of benefits claimants are unemployed. We know that without even hunting for the official statistics. Although we could. Don’t get me wrong I’ve got no love for Ian D Smith but it doesnt help anybody’s cause pumping a load of false numbers to back up an emotionally driven story designed to cause contraversy. I’m sure the fellas enough of an epic douche bag without the aid of invention !
In fact, looking at the meme, she said half of those on benefits are pensioners, than went on to say half of benefit claimants – those who have to claim money, rather than pensioners who have passed the appropriate age to receive their money automatically, are “in work”. If you are saying her estimate is low, and the actual figure is higher than she stated, then not only are you supporting her argument, but you are actually strengthening it.
So what, exactly, is your problem?
