Will Derby get its political champion – Chris Williamson – back? It’s good to see him seeking re-election in Derby, under the Workers Party banner.

This Writer has known Chris for several years now; he was one of the few Labour Party representatives to call out the fabricated anti-Semitism crisis for what it was – and was thrown out of the party for his pains.

For information about his political background, you could not do better than to read his own memoir of his time in the Labour Party, Ten Years Hard Labour, which covers the period when he was MP for Derby North. If you visit the book’s Amazon page, you can read reviews of it that will give you an insight into Chris and his politics.

Now he is campaigning to be the WPGB MP for Derby South:
