Tories Break Promise over Fracking near Drinking Water – Beastrabban\’s Weblog
This blog’s original article about this issue gained only a few hundred readers when it was published earlier this week – it seems people were more interested in blaming Labour for this piece of Coalition underhandedness than in actually doing something to stop it. Thankfully the Beast has revived it. He writes:
Mike over at Vox Political … posted this piece, reporting Cameron’s broken promise about not allowing fracking near sources of drinking water.
The article cites a piece by Friends of the Earth, who have received a leaked letter revealing that, despite having made pledges to safeguard water supplies, Cameron fully intends to ignore his promise and go ahead regardless.
