Bombing Syria won’t solve terrorism – we need to out-THINK the murderers

Last Updated: November 15, 2015By

Even if ‘Mad Nad’ gets her wish and an early vote takes place, the result should remain the same.

Bombing Syria indiscriminately will do Daesh (let’s not dignify these people with the name they’ve chosen for themselves) more good than harm, encouraging more young recruits to rally to the terrorists’ cause.

The British security services and armed forces need to be cleverer than that; they need to out-think the murderers and undermine their support base.

Oh, but I know what people are thinking.

Bombing is so much easier.

Tory MP Nadine Dorries has called for MPs to vote on whether to bomb ISIS targets in Syria.

The outspoken backbencher called for a Commons vote to authorise air strikes no later than Monday.

” (let’s not dignify these people with the name they’ve chosen for themselves)”

Daesh, why Daesh? They ARE Islamic Extremist, (the clue’s in the name!) trying to break the religious link with these ‘people’ is just diverting the cause of their existence. Muddying the waters will not persuade anyone affected by these atrocities to change opinion because you change the terms of reference. Call a spade a spade, and face the truth.

I am calling them what they are.
If you would prefer to use the name they have chosen for themselves, what does that say about you?

Follow the money! Thats what we should be doing.ISIS or whatever it is called has billions of dollars sqirrelled away in accounts across the world thanks to money laundering and the ability to “wire” money across the globe with ease. But money talks and getting co-operation to pursue this course of action is unacceptable. Droppings bombs is more visual and doesn’t destabilise the money market. God Bless America!

I’m not Peter Hitchens’ biggest fan. But he says exactly the same thing in a most intelligent article on the subject – that we should THINK before acting with knee-jerk responses, and that by so doing we will come around to seeing how we can best undermine these grotesque jihadis.
