‘Errors’ in Met’s VIP paedophile probe Operation Midland – BBC News
I’m fascinated to see what will happen to police officers responsible for fouling up this investigation.
My guess is: Nothing.
Meanwhile the victims will continue to suffer the effects of what happened to them, for the rest of their lives.
Numerous errors were made in Scotland Yard’s investigation into paedophile allegations against VIPs, an independent review has found.
The decision to abandon Operation Midland should have been taken “much earlier”, Sir Richard Henriques said.
He found “grave” errors in the handling of historical sex crime probes against high profile figures.
Five officers have been referred to the Independent Police Complaints Commission as a result.

spot on it hiding away from our eyes it was never ever to succeed has we know to many of those in power didnt want us to see how corrupt they are
They don’t want the truth to come out the so called VIP’s will not let it, Bit like the election fraud Dr Kelly, Jill Dando and may many more all under the carpet
I don’t think the BBC have the moral stance to complain about paedophile investigations.
“… what will happen to police officers responsible for fouling up this investigation.” In two words…Definitely, nothing!
I am a victim of child abuse. My abusers are not high profile but they are well connected. The police have been aware of what happened to me as a child for over 40 years (I am 43). They will not take a statement from me or get forensics involved even though it is their legal obligation to do this.
With Operation Midland the police may have referred five officers to the IPCC but the IPCC is run by police officers and so will not do anything. At the most they might suspend those five officers for 5 years for a period of time then give them their jobs back (otherwise known as a holiday paid for by taxpayers) I complained to the IPCC about the lack of help the police gave to me and the IPCC contacted me to say they had fully investigated and there wasn’t a case (still no statement or forensics from me for them to say that).
When the police refer something to the IPCC goes through the very police station that the officers work from and it is also investigated by that very police station also. Look them up on the internet if you don’t believe me (makes the word Independent a bit of a sick joke really)
The British tax payers are being ripped off to the extreme and still there is a major situation of historical child abuse being covered up.
If there are any people out there who can help please do. I am one of those individuals who needs help and I have my own body as physical evidence of what happened to me. I cannot be the only abuse victim out there who has their own damaged body as physical evidence. I am 100% proof of a 100% cover-up.
