Reasons to vote, number #4 – don’t let the Tories take it away
Conservatives are piloting a system in which voters need to show identification before being allowed near a ballot box.
It means they can limit the number of people who can vote – especially if they don’t bother telling people about the need to bring ID.
Consider:
Just been to vote. Was informed that two people had already turned up without ID this morning so had been unable to vote. Very worrying and backs up all the evidence that the voter ID pilot in Bromley is plain wrong.

Apparently two members of the public were, at the last election, prosecuted for fraud. However, 19 Tory candidates were reported and investigated by the police for an identical system of electoral expenses fraud. After yet another whitewash only one is being prosecuted. That shows where the real fraud actually is. This is just another nasty snide trick by the Nasty Tory Party to reduce the opposition vote.
