Russians named as suspects in the Salisbury poisonings – but can we trust lying Tories?

Suspects: Alexander Petrov and Ruslan Boshirov.

It’s looking bad for Russia, isn’t it?

The trouble is, the Conservative government is not known for its record of honesty in this case.

This Site, and others, have reported inconsistencies in the Tory story, time and again since the poisonings of Sergei and Yulia Skripal in March this year.

So I am not prepared to accept Theresa May’s claims unquestioningly. It is interesting to note that the statement from investigators did not pin the blame on the Russian GRU, but Mrs May did.

Let us not forget that she has systematically weakened the UK’s intelligence-gathering capabilities that could have prevented the attack from happening.

And notice that no other line of inquiry is being pursued. Is this because the Tories were determined to pin the blame on Russia and ignored alternative possibilities?

I await analysis by those with more expertise than myself, and would advise you to do the same.

Two Russian nationals have been named and charged over the novichok poisoning of Sergei and Yulia Skripal in Salisbury, Wiltshire. British police and prosecutors made the announcement on Wednesday.

Police said the two men were travelling on authentic Russian passports under the names of Alexander Petrov and Ruslan Boshirov and arrived in the UK on an Aeroflot flight days before the attack. The Crown Prosecution Service said there was enough evidence to charge them. British investigators said the two men were believed to have worked for Russia’s GRU secret service.

The CPS said it had charged the two men with conspiracy to murder the Skripals and DS Nick Bailey, who fell ill after going to the Skripal home after the Russian pair were found slumped on a bench in Salisbury.

The two Russian suspects are also charged with the use and possession of novichok, contrary to the Chemical Weapons Act. They are also charged with causing grievous bodily harm with intent to Yulia Skripal and DS Bailey.

They have not been charged with the later poisoning that killed Dawn Sturgess and left Charlie Rowley seriously ill, after they became unwell on 30 June at an address in Amesbury, Wiltshire.

The investigation has recovered CCTV of the two suspects after they flew into Gatwick airport and stayed in the City Stay hotel in east London. After arriving on Friday 2 March on an Aeroflot flight, they went to Salisbury on the Saturday in what police said they were satisfied was a reconnaissance trip.

They returned to London that day and went back to Salisbury on Sunday, when police say CCTV showed them in the vicinity of the Skripal house. Police believe that after contaminating the front door of the property, they immediately went to Heathrow via train and London underground and flew back on Sunday night at 10.30pm. Health experts said no one they travelled with on the flights or trains is believed to be in danger and no one else is reported to have fallen ill.

The most obvious call would be, when did these so called suspects call by and smear Novichok on the door handle without killing themselves, because we are talking here about the most deadly substance know yet to man. where was all the protective clothing that would be visible to any passer by, because normal surgical gloves would not in any way protect them against Novichok.

Quote from a scientific paper on Novichok: “They have reportedly been engineered to be undetectable by standard detection equipment and to defeat standard chemical protective gear. Like other nerve agents, the Novichok agents act by inhibiting the enzyme cholinesterase”

    https://www.sciencedirect.com/topics/neuroscience/novichok-agent

How did hospital staff not die from coming into contact with these so called victims?

How did they diagnose this substance quick enough to save their lives?

Why did people in the restaurant not die by being in close proximity to them, waiters etc?

Just a few minor possibilities of this whole saga being total rubbish, but the tin hat was put on it by Boris Johnson lying on German television that Porton Down had emphatically stated it was Novichok, when they said nothing of the sort.

Trust May and her cronies? As far as I could throw them. This entire affair stinks of a carefully structured frame-up. However May and Co. obviously think we are too thick to see straight through it.

A likely story. So where is the evidence? the cctv footage? the proof that it was novichok? and where are the Skripals? Interesting that they have ALL disappeared. The so called murderers skipped back to Russia? Wheres the proof of that? CCTV flight records. Russians were suspected from the getgo- so why weren’t Russian nationals stopped from boarding the plane? More holes than a sieve, this story.

I think it’s an experiment to see how stupid British people are. I mean, a Russian spy poisoned near Porton Down, our own military scientific area and people think it’s Russia. Has everybody forgotten when whistle blower David Shayler told how our government were funding Al Qaeda against Gaddafi in Libya? A country people didn’t pay household bills, while more old people were dying of cold in Britain than before.
Or how when Tories made rest of Europe hate us before because EU was preventing them mistreating many people, such as EU saying workers should have enough breaks and genetically modified ingredients should be labelled, she made us only country that allowed USA to use us as airport to bomb Libya, which killed many people. Other countries wouldn’t give them air space so they had to fly around and the Queen was upset at having such an uncaring PM. That led to the Lockerbie plane bomb.
Boris Johnson was in charge of who we have peace with. He was part of the plan to spread lies about Russia, because they were only country with guts to speak against him wanting to go along with USA funding extremists in Syria against Assad. IS are driving around Syria in trucks USA sent to overthrow Assad.
When Boris Johnson was trying to get support for arming extremists in Syria against Assad, the media made a fuss about another stupid comment he made on the same TV show, but media didn’t care when he said there wasn’t a vote on second war against Iraq, when more Tories voted yes than other parties. That means only point in media is to dumb down society getting people to care about talentless celebs, media is in with his Tory propaganda, he’s seeing how stupid people are if he says any old thing or he’s an idiot

NO it has now been established that these two men were actually tourists visiting a chapel in Salisbury ”they were not involved in the Salisbury novichok attack.

Theresa May has lied to the world and Parliament once again, this is totally unacceptable behaviour.
