Disabled people are fighting flawed benefit decisions – with help from their MP. Will yours join in?

More of this please, MPs!

The Department for Work and Pensions has put ridiculous conditions on the recording of benefit assessments.

So Labour MP Dan Carden has taken it upon himself to meet those conditions.

Funny how it’s never any Conservative MPs doing this, isn’t it?

Perhaps one or two would like to prove me wrong.

Disabled people in Liverpool will be given the chance to fight flawed benefit decisions made by the Department of Work and Pensions.

Work capability assessments carried out by private companies like Atos, Capita and Maximus have been criticised for regularly producing flawed decisions.

Now Liverpool Walton MP Dan Carden has joined the ‘On The Record’ campaign, started in Sheffield and Manchester – which has seen a campaign group called Disabled People Against Cuts raise cash to purchase recording kit that claimants can take to benefit assesments.

Disabled people say that when assessments are recorded, they are far more likely to result in accurate decisions – saving disabled people months of stress and hardship fighting appeals to get the support they are entitled to.

The fact that people are having to do this speaks volumes. The system is broken, by design or by incompetence. A damning indictment of life in Tory Britain where the poor, the sick and the disabled are held in utter contempt.

Con MPs have been told not to help DWP claiments. We used to have a good Labour MP here but idiots voted a Con in so there won’t be any help forthcoming here in Clwyd.

Not a chance in hell that my MP will join in. He is a true Tory, Edward Leigh. He has never gone against the government.

The citizens advice screwed me over a while back before they done the bribe money with the DWP the cab filled in my uc50 form and sent it off I gave permission to have it saved for the future to cut the story short I scored zero points for fitness for work test I noticed that the DWP used someone else medical records against my own saying that on the uc50 form I claimed I had this ( medical problems) but when I attended I only had these (medical problems) what we’re totally different .when I noticed this I went to the cab and asked for a copy of the form 1st I was told they could not find it on the computer and it had been deleted then a week later the story changed to it was never saved on the computer but in between them filling in the UC50 and when I had the fitness for work test the cab took the bribe money what had certain things they had to do and what they can’t do (1) not to say anything bad against the DWP (2) not to go against the dwp like appeals ,court cases , my original uc50 form what was filled in was my evidence and it would have been used in my court case against them. But with the cab holding the evidence it would break the contract with the DWP for the money and I believe that they got rid of it on purpose so they get the money from the DWP I’ve been fighting for over 4 years now and still fighting waiting for yet another court date because the DWP now claim they have lost the uc50 form what proves the true medical history of mine and not what they claim I said on the form I’ve now gave my full medical proof so the court can see I never lied on the form and iam still waiting on a new court date and I no the DWP won’t send anybody to defend them because the judge would demand answers.
