Do Tory voters even realise they voted to make kids sleep in bins – and risk dying in the crusher?
A refuse collector in North Wales found two children sleeping in a wheelie bin whose contents he was about to consign to the crusher.
Think about that: this man would have ended two young lives without even realising they were there.
They – and he – were lucky; according to the Health and Safety Executive, seven people have been killed in the last five years – because they were sleeping in bins.
It’s what our votes have condoned; under the Conservatives, homelessness has skyrocketed.
And their figures on the number of people sleeping rough have been found to be seriously inaccurate, recording only one-fifth of the real number.
The statistic is produced by taking a “snapshot” of the number of people found sleeping on the streets on a particular night of the year – usually in the autumn.
One is moved to ask whether those carrying out the count thought to look in the bins.

There’s no knowing what goes through the minds of Tory voters, it’s beyond me.
The Fascist tories and their supporters will claim it is the mothers who are to blame for not taking care of these children. Fascist tories will also claim ‘wah we are providing financial assistance to “vulnerable people (sic)” so we aren’t responsible!
Common fascist tory lies because their demonic policies have always punished impoverished women and their children particularly. Fascist tories believe the myth that one can magically lift oneself out of poverty merely by wishing it!
This is yet more evidence UK is now little england and a vile one which demonises impoverised women and men because everyone supposedly causes their own impoverishment! Government was once upon a time long ago working for the people but now government is solely about increasing male corporate wealth and using taxpayers’ money on useless ‘vanity projects’ such as HS2!
This is very callous indeed.
I am reminded of the Memphis garbage collectors who used to shelter in the rain in the back of the truck!
Back in 1968, 2 of them were crushed to death as a result.
And this is what drew Martin Luther King in so that he could be assassinated.
