The word ‘Resigning’ may have started trending on Twitter in the UK for one reason – but you’d be hard-pressed to find out what it is after Twitter users piled in en masse to complain that they had hoped it was about Boris Johnson and his Tory government.
The trend – totalling more than 6,000 tweets at the time of writing – signifies a massive ad hoc vote of “no confidence” in Johnson and his cronies ministers.
And commenters weren’t holding back:

Resigning. I clicked on it hoping it was Johnson and his whole rotten cabinet.#ToriesOut pic.twitter.com/3om609VNKT

Resigning is the minimum I would expect from the rotten Tory government.

Have YOU donated to my crowdfunding appeal, raising funds to fight false libel claims by TV celebrities who should know better? These court cases cost a lot of money so every penny will help ensure that wealth doesn’t beat justice.
