Is Gary Stevenson the new hero of British politics?

Gary Stevenson is a former City trader who became a campaigner against economic inequality after making a fortune betting on the economy worsening as a result of government policies.

He appeared on the BBC’s Politics live and spoke more sense than the rest of the panel combined, on subjects including wealth taxes for the rich and new ‘Levelling Up’ funding.

Here’s what he had to say. Judge for yourself.

I’ll see if I can find more from him.

Have YOU donated to my crowdfunding appeal, raising funds to fight false libel claims by TV celebrities who should know better? These court cases cost a lot of money so every penny will help ensure that wealth doesn’t beat justice.

I’m sure that he was in a documentary not so long ago , talking about his background etc .
Will try and find out what it actually was .

Angela ‘Brickgate’ Eagle lost her right to comment on such matters when she actively worked against electing someone who would have dealt with such inequality. Gary seems a ‘good’un’ though!

see the horror on the faces of the other panel! the reality is the political class are now puppets of the corporations! that’s now both parties!! thanks for making me aware of this gentleman.

    Did interview with Owen Jones.

Is part of Patriotic Millionaires UK.

He says to tax the assets more of the rich, not only their income.

My campaign to create a new Over 50s party now includes Winston Churchill’s luxury tax of 33.3 per cent he began in 1940, on things rich people buy, including on public school fees.
