Are you aware of how deeply private health firms have embedded themselves into your National Health Service?

These companies are providing their services to the Conservative government – in return for a hefty profit that they are dragging out of the public purse. In other words, they’re taking your money that could have been put to better use.

I live in the middle of Wales, in a part of the map that isn’t absolutely peppered with pointers – but that doesn’t mean that my healthcare isn’t affected.

Some of the care needed by people in Wales can’t be provided here, so we have to cross the border to get it – from profiteers.

It’s sickening. The Tories – the so-called “party of choice” – are giving us no choice but to accept largely sub-standard services from companies that care more about money than our health, and all so they or their friends can rip off a fat wad of cash from the national treasury.

What a scam.
