Israel genocide daily roundup: January 23, 2024
Information on Israel’s genocide in Gaza is now coming in faster than a single writer can comment on it so I am presenting what I’ve received and leaving it to you to draw your own conclusions about it.
The final pretense that there exists a "rules-based order" collapsed with the decision of the governments of the US, France, and Germany to excuse a genocide rather than inconvenience an ally.
A mortifying spectacle that not even history will forgive.

Israel is openly undermining its own rape allegations. The Health Ministry is ordering doctors not to cooperate with the UN investigation. https://t.co/s9rUC51QJr

The state of Palestine accounts for just 0.07% of the global population yet 80% of global famine is currently in Gaza.
This hasn’t happened by accident. This has happened by policy.

I was being sarcastic when the other day I suggested that a new legal defence of "justifiable genocide" would be invented just for Israel.
I was way behind the curve. https://t.co/a7s1siRgm1

"Therefore, if the children of Gaza are forced to starve, to live in sewage pipes, and to eat moldy bread, I don't care, let this happen."
An Israeli journalist says it is okay for Israel to starve Gaza's children to death so long as there are Israeli prisoners in the enclave. pic.twitter.com/z3llmc611B

Israeli HQ ordered troops to shoot Israeli captives on 7 October https://t.co/PFUGG7AsGD
My latest shows how:
🚨Israel's supreme command reactivated the "Hannibal Directive" on 7 Oct.
🚨At least 70 vehicles were destroyed by Israeli fire –– an indeterminate number with Israelis…— Asa Winstanley (@AsaWinstanley) January 20, 2024
The "Jewish community" mentioned here? Three people.
I can find you 300 east London Jews who have no problem with these flags whatsoever. Who see them as a sign of our collective liberation, in fact. pic.twitter.com/B5MzluvoEa

You're a pitiful, bought-and-paid-for, spineless genocide apologist
12,000 CHILDREN blown apart, you say NOTHING
Some imaginary attack on 'the Jewish community' (which doesn't exist, you just ignore the Jews who disagree) and you're there for the photo-op https://t.co/bPqPP7qGAf— The Prole Star (@TheProleStar) January 22, 2024
I’ve always liked @johncusack I like him even more now. This is the truth, if you aren’t defending the human rights of Palestinians, don’t mention human rights again https://t.co/1kdLFx5gZd

This is a self-evident truth.
If you support Israel's onslaught against Gaza then, by definition, you value Palestinian civilian life far less than Israeli civilian life.
There is no getting around this basic fact.
Pretending otherwise is self-deception. https://t.co/okbYTJz6QJ

People in Gaza Strip are starving.. Remember that this is due to the silence and complicity of world leaders. pic.twitter.com/nsWi7cTq7G

If Israel's campaign is allowed to continue as is, the majority of deaths suffered by Palestinians will not be because of bombings, but because of the unlivable conditions created by the endless bombing campaigns. Hunger, Famine, Hypothermia, Malnutrition, Lack of Food and Water,… https://t.co/OadNCxYgAS

This palestinian child teaches what the world has lost and failed to do. This act of kindness represent and teach humanity to everyone.
Imagine he is hungry and still share his milk with the cat. ❤ pic.twitter.com/Nj9jpVgkYp

Maybe if Israel stops kidnapping and killing, stops stealing land and possessions and treat Palestinians with respect, equal, than things will change. Who teaches their kids to see Palestinians as human animals?

The Israeli army have destroyed every single mosque in northern Gaza. Not a single place of prayer and worship remains standing.
Nothing at all to do with defence.
Everything to do with destroying a way of life.
Everything to do with genocide. pic.twitter.com/a2M7xpDUsK— Howard Beckett (@BeckettUnite) January 22, 2024
