Has David Cameron admitted the UK is helping Israel commit war crimes?

David Cameron: was this the expression on his face when he realised the UK has been aiding and abetting Israel in its war crimes against Gaza – making us liable to be criminalised by the International Court of Justice?

If true, this is terrifying for all those of us who believe in peace and the sanctity of human life.

According to Another Angry Voice, Foreign Secretary David Cameron has admitted that Israel has met his criteria for committing war crimes – by systematically blocking the entry of aid into Gaza.

This constitutes collective punishment against the civilian population there, according to Cameron’s own standards, laid out several weeks ago.

But the UK continues to send military aid to Israel while it carries out these crimes, making every citizen of this country complicit in the genocide against Gaza.

I’m not happy with that. Are you?

Tom Clark, the Angry Yorkshireman who writes AAV, isn’t happy either. He states:

The Geneva Convention and the Rome Statute prohibit weapons transfers when those weapons will be used to violate international humanitarian law, which means the UK government has been making itself complicit in Israeli war crimes all along, and especially so now that a senior government minister has expressed frustration at Israel’s continued use of unlawful siege tactics.

Furthermore Israel’s continued siege tactics, as acknowledged by David Cameron, are in direct defiance of the International Court of Justice order to “ensure the delivery of basic services and essential humanitarian aid to civilians in Gaza”.

It’s beyond outrageous that Rishi Sunak continues Britain’s complicity with Israeli war crimes, even when his own foreign secretary admits that they’re defying the ICJ by blockading food aid.

Cameron knows his stuff when it comes to war crimes. How many did he support, back when he was prime minister?

The Canadian Government was being directly sued over their supply of arms to Israel. A bill was put before their government to try and force them to end the trade although, I gather, it was non binding the government has stated that they will comply with it and cease exports.

This has been reported widely on the internet, in the Toronto Star and even our own Guardian. For some reason the BBC has failed to pick up on this on their website. Canada, as a member of NATO and Five Eyes has made a decision that is monumental and yet it’s deliberately being kept quiet by our state broadcaster, why?
