If this is a new comment by Labour’s Shadow Health Secretary, Wes Streeting, then Jeremy Corbyn (it’s clearly about him) should sue:

Mr Corbyn did launch proceedings against Nigel Farage this year – after prompting from This Site and others, and it might be worth repeating the reasons I gave for urging him to do so at the time. They would certainly apply to this, also.

I wrote:

The reason other politicians keep smearing Jeremy Corbyn with false accusations of anti-Semitism is that he keeps letting them get away with it.

Mr Corbyn’s attitude is that, if it isn’t hurting people other than himself, he’s big enough not to worry about it.

The problem with that is that it harms his supporters, who are also smeared with the same allegation; they may be said to be supporting an anti-Semite.

To paraphrase what I said then (changing it to make it relevant to this): This Writer knows of no occasion when Mr Corbyn supported the IRA (he has denied it) or spoke to only one side while working for peace in the Middle East, and I think Streeting should be dragged into a courtroom to explain exactly why he said such a thing.

If Mr Corbyn goes back to his usual “won’t be bothered” stance he will be letting us all down.
