The Green Party is under attack from Establishment stooges after big local election gains.
The claim that the same people who brought down Jeremy Corbyn are now attacking the Greens seems accurate. Let’s look at Mandelson:

The answer to his “dustbin for hard-leftists” jibe made itself abundantly clear today (May 8, 2024), when Keir Starmer made Labour a dustbin for disgruntled hard-right Brexiteers by letting Natalie Elphicke join:
Mandelson once proudly boasted that he worked every day to remove Jeremy Corbyn from the leadership of the Labour Party.
Instrumental in achieving this aim were the Jewish Labour Movement, among others who also spread false claims that anti-Semitism was rife in Corbyn’s Labour (in fact, he reduced it significantly – and it had already been the political party with the least anti-Semitism among its ranks – much lower than the national average).
So it should be no surprise that the JLM is now attacking the Green Party:
It seems that, consistent with other campaigning by anti-Corbyn organisations and individuals, the evidence against some of these Green Party representatives does not support what has been said about them. In a statement, Mothin Ali has said his words have been “misinterpreted”, and supporters have taken this to show that the JLM is acting in bad faith:
It seems the real concern is that Mothin Ali and other Green Party representatives are concerned for the safety of Palestinians in Gaza, and this is deemed unacceptable by the Zionists of the JLM. So they are attacking the Greens for abandoning their environmentalism to support humanitarianism.
Spokesman Zack Polanski has tackled this, thankfully:
More attacks are likely to follow. Perhaps Mr Polanski and his colleagues will take advice from the following X thread:
It seems the plan is to smear the Green Party and its members with misleading claims based on selective evidence.
The correct response is to demand full disclosure of all information in which any claims are based, so the selective evidence may be reviewed in the proper context – and to dismiss any claims that cannot be substantiated in that way as hysterical, because that’s what they’ll be.
The Green Party is heading for a hard time. Let’s hope its leaders cope better than Mr Corbyn.
