Here’s proof that a happy workforce is a productive workforce. Which UK political party will invest in people like this business owner?

This is from a Facebook post, seen today (June 20, 2024):

“Remember Dan Price…that CEO who took a pay cut so he could pay all his employees a minimum annual wage of $70,000? Here’s what happened next:

““Six years later after the decision that others said would destroy his business, Dan reports that revenue has tripled, the customer base has doubled, 70% of his employees have paid down debt, many bought homes for the first time, 401(k) contributions grew by 155%… His business is now a Harvard Business School case study.”

This Writer remembers him.

And he has only proved what I’ve been saying all along – that a happy workforce is a productive one.

Now: which of the UK’s political parties has a policy to encourage (or indeed nudge) business owners into doing the same? Anyone?
