The Twitter account Red Collective, which originally claimed that Mr Nargund was being investigated for “misconduct in public office, fraud and corruption”, has provided further information on this to the police – and to us:
Fellow left-wing politics site Skwawkbox has researched what is going on, seeking comment from Nargund himself – only to be rebuffed with a warning implying possible legal action from the Labour Party itself.

But I will add my voice to those of Skwawkbox‘s Steve Walker and Electronic Intifada‘s Asa Winstanley.
If Labour is trying to use the threat of legal action to prevent the facts from reaching the public, this is indeed thuggish behaviour and suggests that the party may engage in further legally-dubious intimidation if elected into government.
Voters in Islington North would be well-advised to bear all of the above in mind.
And then I would advise them to vote for Jeremy Corbyn.
