Meet Jeremy Corbyn as he promotes a new book about the arms trade
If you’re in Manchester or Rochdale on December 14, there’s a chance to meet Jeremy Corbyn as he promotes a new book about the arms trade across the world.
It might not be what you’d call a stocking-filler, but Monstrous Anger of the Guns: How The Global Arms Trade is Ruining The World and What We Can Do About It has been released just in time for Christmas, and Mr Corbyn will be at two events to publicise it.
Mr Corbyn will be joined by co-editor Dr Paul Rogers at the Mechanics Institute in Manchester at 1pm on December 14, for a discussion of the global arms trade.
And then at 6pm on the same day, Mr Corbyn will be joined at the Rochdale Royale by Dr Yvonne Ridley, Rabbi Elhanan Beck and Al Jazeera journalist Youmna El Sayed, along with many others campaigning for an end to the genocide in Gaza and lasting peace.
Tickets to both events are available here.
The book is being promoted by Mr Corbyn’s Peace and Justice Project. If you cannot attend these events, keep an eye out for other upcoming talks and promotional events in the near future and into the New Year.
