So now Donald Trump wants to help Farage win elections? It’s okay when they do it…
Remember in the run-up to the US Presidential election, when Trump was up in arms at British supporters of Kamala Harris who travelled to the States to help her?
He called it “blatant foreign interference”, even though foreign nationals are permitted to volunteer in political campaigns in the US as long as they are not compensated, according to Federal Election Commission rules.

Meanwhile, Nigel Farage was apparently paid £12,000 to attend an event connected to the Republican National Convention, in direct contravention of those FEC rules.
And now this:
Nigel Farage has suggested that the US President-elect Donald Trump and the owner of X Elon Musk will support Reform UK’s campaign at the next general election.
Farage was asked by a Financial Times reporter whether Trump and Musk would lend their support to Reform.
In response, Farage said: “Are Trump and Elon going to support me in the run up to 2029? Well, that’s what friends are for isn’t it?”
It’s all right when they do it – isn’t it?
One rule for us and no rules for them.
The hypocrisy would be staggering if it wasn’t coming from someone we should expect to act appallingly.
