Christmas is about radical economic reforms – so what would YOU like to see?

Jesus was a radical economic reformer and that means Christmas is about radical economic reforms – so what would you like to see?

That was the Christmas message from economist Richard Murphy on his Funding the Future YouTube channel on Christmas Day, 2024 – and he provided Biblical examples to support his claim.

He also said he believed the meaning of Christmas has been subsumed in a morass of distractions.

But why not see for yourself?

So perhaps instead of asking for materialistic presents, we should be going further and saying what economic changes we need.

UK is a weird country in which the minute a government is elected they forget all about ordinary people and instead become obsessed with frittering away money on stupid useless things instead of benefiting everyone.
The proposed 50 million quid on a statue of the dead queen being one such example. The 100 million wasted on a “cave” for bats being another.
Why doesn’t the government raise a wealth tax? Simple!
    King Charles won’t permit it.
You won’t have a proper functional country until you get rid of the royal family. (And yes, I’m British. They disgust me.)
