Yoav Gallant admitted the Hannibal Directive was used to kill Israelis on October 7, 2023

Former Israeli defence minister Yoav Gallant admitted the Hannibal Directive was used to kill Israelis on October 7, 2023.

These Israeli atrocities keep coming back to haunt that country, don’t they? Only a few days ago, the lie that Hamas burned babies was resurrected by Donald Trump and Benjamin Netanyahu – and killed again by those of us who know it didn’t happen.

Now Gallant has admitted Israeli troops were ordered to kill their fellow Israelis in order to stop them from being taken captive.

Here’s a video clip of the admission:

A warrant has already been issued by the International Criminal Court for Gallant’s arrest, along with that of his prime minister, Benjamin Netanyahu, for war crimes committed after the October 7 attack. This can only make his arrest more urgent.

The big question for This Writer – and others in the UK social media – is whether this will finally persuade the mainstream media organisations to admit that Israel committed such crimes. My guess is that it won’t.

Here’s Steve Walker of Skwawkbox:

For months now, in fact since barely a month after the events, it has been clear – and ultimately admitted by Israel media – that Israel killed hundreds of its own people on 7 October 2023 through the repeated use of the ‘Hannibal directive’ mandating the slaughter of everyone in an area, regardless of nationality, to prevent Israelis being taken captive by Palestinian militia.

Despite this being openly discussed by Israel’s media, UK and other western media have ignored it – deceiving their populations and allowing pro-Israel propagandists to repeat… false claims, without challenge or scrutiny, to excuse Israel’s slaughter of Palestinian civilians.

Not one ‘mainstream’ UK news outlet appears to have mentioned it and both Keir Starmer and Foreign Secretary David Lammy have, unsurprisingly, ignored it completely, as it exposes the UK government’s collusion in war crimes.

That’s probably the reason: the UK government – under both Keir Starmer and Rishi Sunak – supported Israel’s war crimes and the mainstream media supported them in doing it.

Ignoring the facts is a face-saving exercise for all involved – and to Hell with all the innocent people in kibbutzim and at the Nova music festival who were killed by their own military for no reason.
