Social media site removes ‘Home Office’ article due to ‘misinformation’. Let’s have another look at that expenses list…
I received an email today from LinkedIn, of all places.
It stated: “Your post goes against our policy on misinformation. It has been removed and only you can access it.”
The post to which it referred was my article Huge wodges of your cash have failed to make Patel pretty. Why is she using your money to pamper herself?
Obviously the email doesn’t provide enough information for me to respond in any meaningful way, so I have requested a review and an explanation. In the meantime, we can have a look at some of the information in the article, which centres on expenses claims submitted by the Home Office and drawing on public money.
Lloyd Hardy on Twitter has been analysing the claims and produced the following thread:
https://twitter.com/lloydhardy/status/1375755613964222467
https://twitter.com/lloydhardy/status/1375774629583851525

So there is a large volume of evidence that these expenses claims are… suspicious, to say the least – and there is evidence that significant amounts of money were authorised by Patel herself.
This evidence, and the other information provided by Mr Hardy, needs to be investigated fully.
I understand he has received a threat of some form of legal action – that means in the courts, for the hard-of-thinking (I was once accused by a loonie anti-Semitism accuser who actually suggested I was saying that other behaviour by people like them was illegal/criminal), so I would suggest that this investigation happens quickly, to prevent any miscarriage of justice.
And LinkedIn should review its policies on the removal of articles for “misinformation”.
Have YOU donated to my crowdfunding appeal, raising funds to fight false libel claims by TV celebrities who should know better? These court cases cost a lot of money so every penny will help ensure that wealth doesn’t beat justice.

As an aside. I am deeply concerned about attacks on journalists for doing their jobs properly. God knows so few actually investigate and uncover wrongdoing these days.
I was especially concerned to see that Craig Murray (former Ambassador and whistleblower) has been convicted of Contempt of Court and now faces imprisonment for reporting on the Alex Salmond trial – literally the only journalist to report in full on the trial. Not only does he face imprisonment but all of the relevant articles have now been taken off line – he has been silenced.
We have no particular ‘rights’ in this country and the government wants to remove them yet further. I am truly concerned what will be left for my grandchildren as Starmer has no appetite for the rights of the people, he merely complies..
All these fake expenses are a pathetic attempt by the arrogant fascist tories to hide their systemic theft of our public money for their nefarious purposes!
A female/male pupil could hide evidence of money laundering far more easily than the worthless Home Office boys!
I demand to see the expense records of all the other ministry departments such as Dept of Works and Pensions, Education Department and particularly Prime Minister’s official expenses sheets! I guarantee there is widespread theft and fraud happening within the fascist tory dictatorship – oops I mean the democratic (cough cough) government!!!
We peasants have a right to know where all our public money is going and it won’t have been spent on providing food for thousands and thousands impoverished women and their families!
Watersports Warehouse?? authorised by Patel?? Is she overseeing training migrants at deepsea diving
Watersports used to have a completely different meaning once, that I wouldn’t put past a Tory.
