People of Erdington: if this makes sense, vote yourselves a new MP on March 3
Remember Dave Nellist, the socialist candidate for Birmingham Erdington standing on the TUSC ticket, as part of the People’s Alliance of the Left?
Here’s a short message from his campaign on Twitter:
They say inflation is 5%. Not for ordinary people, it isn’t!
Essentials up over 20%. Paying basic bills is becoming impossible. Our energy bills are soaring.

From 1980 to 2020 there has been an annual transfer of wealth from workers to the big business bosses, now worth £250 billion. So any wage rises workers win are not only necessary, but long overdue.

When Dave was an MP, he only took a worker's wage, not the inflated salary designed to separate MPs from those they are supposed to represent.
If he’s elected to represent Erdington, he’ll do the same today – vote TUSC on 3rd March for a workers’ MP on a worker’s wage!

And can you spare a donation to support TUSC? Unsurprisingly, we have no big business backers, so all donations big and small are gratefully received over at https://t.co/XkNNAHv5Zh

If you’re a voter in Erdington and this makes good sense to you, then consider helping the campaign via the instructions in tweets six and seven – and vote for Dave on March 3.

Have YOU donated to my crowdfunding appeal, raising funds to fight false libel claims by TV celebrities who should know better? These court cases cost a lot of money so every penny will help ensure that wealth doesn’t beat justice.
