Keir Starmer has no intention of helping you
The appropriate quotation is: “when someone tells you who they are, believe them”*. Keir Starmer has no intention of helping you if you are working-class or on a lower income.
You can tell that he is only interested in helping himself from this interview clip:

He was trying to tell us that, as a child, he had no special advantages – but this is not true. Families in the 1960s and 70s had the support of a working ‘welfare state’, with benefits paid to parents, initially for all children after the first, and then for all children (from 1975). He is the second of four children, so his parents would have received benefits for him and his younger siblings until 1975, and for all their children after then until they became adults.
But he won’t roll back the two-child cap on child benefit.
And that’s just one advantage he had over people today. But he won’t lift a finger to help the rest of us.
That isn’t who he is.
If you’re an adult in the UK, then your only duty in the general election on July 4 is to vote for a candidate in your constituency whose policies are best for you, personally.
Given what Starmer has told us about himself, what possible reason could you have for supporting him and his party?

Under the unfair voting system, only Labour can beat the Conservatives. Let’s get rid of the Conservatives first, and if Starmer messes up, do the same thing to him next time.
“Only Labour can beat the Conservatives”? Do you ever look at what you’re writing?
Tell me: how will you be benefited when Labour gets in and changes NOTHING?
Wouldn’t you be better-off voting for a candidate with policies that will actually help you?
This general election is about your future; your prosperity. You’re not betting on a horse race.
And, as I was reminded very recently: how are politicians going to know what you want if you don’t actually bother to tell them?
So if you were thinking of voting Labour because “only Labour can beat the Conservatives”, please think again, actually look at what you’re being offered, and vote for what you actually need. That is the only way your best interests can be met.
First we should get rid of the Conservatives, then if Starmer messes up, we can vote him out without the danger of getting the Conservatives back and maybe get the Lib Dem’s, who would bring in PR so they could be the kingmakers at every election. Right now under FPTP only Labour can win, every other party is too small. I have my own reasons for disliking Starmer, but where I am, not voting Labour gives the Conservatives the chance to take the Canterbury seat back.
Nonsense. The Tories are toast and this election is the best chance to make politicians aware of what we really want.
Your tactical voting demand is a call for people to vote against their best interests and should be ignored.
The ONLY duty of any voter in this election is to vote for what they, personally, need. How else will politicians know what is wanted from them?
