This week, Vox Political welcomed its first Stripe subscriber — someone who chose to support this platform without using PayPal, contributing £10 per month to help keep independent journalism alive.
That might sound like a small step, but to me, it’s a loud, clear message: “I value what you do — and I’ll help you keep doing it.”
This isn’t just about money.
It’s about trust, commitment, and a shift toward more ethical, accessible ways to support creators.
It’s proof that the barriers to supporting independent media are falling, one card payment at a time.
