Now is the time to fight for our very lives – Social Action

Last Updated: January 9, 2015By

To those who say “the closure to this service or the cuts to the welfare state do not affect me, why worry about it”, these cuts somewhere along the line will affect you, writes Paula Peters on Social Action.

By the end of 201,4 60 per cent of the cuts have yet to be implemented. People are really suffering with 40 per cent of the cuts implemented, now imagine 100 per cent of the cuts implemented.

Rough sleeping up in London 64 per cent this year – 64 per cent; one million people, men, women and children are using a foodbank NOW.
Universal credit is coming in.

This government will cut even further.

David cameron has a scorched earth policy and he will finish the job in May if he gets back in.

  • There will be no NHS;
  • No welfare state;
  • No services;
  • And people will die in the streets.

You all have a voice. Use it. Together there is strength in numbers.

      Not in a way that would work to anybody’s advantage, but that would not be Iain Duncan Smith’s plan. At the moment, considering he reckons he’s accelerating the project, we can conclude that he just wants it in place – no matter whether it works or not – in order to mess up the plans of any government that comes in after the Coalition.
      It tends to reinforce the supposition that the Coalition Government was always intended to ruin the machinery of government, rather than achieve any useful goals at all.

    They have certainly done that, everything they touch they destroy. Every walk of life has been affected by their ridiculous policies.

    Roll on May I have the champers on ice.
