Tories disgrace politics with foul-mouthed outbursts both online and in real life

Will the people of Wells be keen for James Heappey to represent them, after his foul-mouthed outburst at a schoolgirl? Are the people of Warwick happy to have Nick Harrington as a councillor after his racist tweet about Ireland?

Perhaps this is why Theresa May keeps telling us the General Election is about voting for her, and not the Conservative Party – the Conservative Party is an absolute, contemptible scandal.

First, this happened:

Nick Harrington deleted his Twitter account after making this tweet – but some of us were quick enough to get a screen capture.

A British Conservative Party councillor has been suspended over comments he made in an anti-Irish tweet.

Nick Harrington composed the post seemingly after Ireland gave the UK “nul points” during voting in the Eurovision Song Contest on Saturday night.

The votes were split into two categories: the jury and the public vote.

The Warwick councillor tweeted: “#Eurovision2017 thanks Ireland. You can keep your f’king gypsies! Hard border coming folks!”

But that was only a Conservative member of Warwick Council.

However – only a few hours ago – the Independent published this:

A Tory MP told a girl to “f*** off back to Scotland” when she said she’d vote for independence if a second referendum was triggered.

James Heappey’s outburst came as he addressed sixth-formers at the £12,000-a-year Millfield School in Somerset.

The Conservative, who is contesting the seat of Wells, asked the children for their views as they discussed the topic of Scottish independence. When one girl said she’d vote to leave the UK, Mr Heappey, 36, replied: “Why don’t you f*** off back to Scotland?”

What a fine advert for unionism Mr Heappey is…n’t. And until the dissolution of Parliament for the current election, he was a Conservative MP!

It seems clear that these stinkers think they can misbehave to their hearts’ content and still expect us to return them to their lives of publicly-subsidised luxury.

Can they?

Or shall we tip these Tories out on their well-tailored arses and have representatives who actually fit the job description?
