Corbyn promises to make UK safer. Tories whine ‘he’s using the terror attack for electioneering’

Last Updated: May 26, 2017By

Jeremy Corbyn delivering his speech on security, May 26, 2017.

Jeremy Corbyn promised a Labour government would improve safety and security in the UK, in a major speech addressing the consequences of the terror attack.

He was – of course – reviled by the right-wing press and any Tory who had a chance to comment on it. They said he was electioneering on the back of a tragedy.

And what has Theresa May been doing for the past few days? She wanted campaigning shut down until Monday, to ensure she could get the maximum amount of exposure, pretending to be “strong and stable” while reading speeches prepared for her by somebody else.

Here’s Mr Corbyn; judge him for yourself:

Let’s contrast this with Theresa May’s reaction when police representatives told her that her relentless cutting of police numbers would make the UK more likely to suffer terror attacks, back in 2015:

That’s right – she said they were “scaremongering” when they warned her that her cuts would lead to “paramilitary policing”.

And what do we have now, with troops on the streets?

Paramilitary policing. They were right and she was wrong.

And Jeremy Corbyn is right today (May 26).

Don’t listen to the whining Tories. They have nothing to offer.

Vote Labour on June 8 – for a safer country.

So what the Conference was not only scaremongering they were telling her the truth which she chose to ignore completely and set on her course of cut backs to the police numbers and the community workers. I think I prefer scaremongering to blatant ignorant lying as she then went ahead and decimated the UK police force!! For what cost saving purpose? bailing out some numb skull greedy banker gamblers. And you want to lead the UK into Brexit??. Retirement would be best so you can help put the bins out.
