If these people are connected with the Paris attacks – and that has yet to be ascertained – then any information that can be extracted from them will be far more useful in the fight against terrorism than the bombing raids in Syria that David Cameron is currently planning.
Five people with links to the Paris attacks have been arrested in Germany, according to local media. The group were arrested near Aachen, close to the border with Belgium and the Netherlands, on the basis of information related to the 13 November attacks in Paris that left 129 dead.
The group – including two women and a man – were coming out of the Employment Office of Alsdorf, a small town located near Aachen, when a commando apprehended the group, whose identity has not been revealed. There is currently no information about the other two suspects.
