Jeremy Hunt tweets support for nurses, and gets absolutely destroyed | The Canary

It was International Nurses Day on Thursday – held on 12 May to mark Florence Nightingale’s birthday. Many people took to Twitter to acknowledge and thank nurses for all they have done.

But when Health Secretary Jeremy Hunt (not known as a friend to the health service) sent this tweet, it backfired massively:

“Nurses care for our loved ones at some of the most difficult times of their lives. Let’s celebrate them! #InternationalNursesDay”

Given that Hunt is currently attempting to undermine the nursing profession by abolishing their bursaries, this response shouldn’t have come as a surprise:

Simon Foster: “Are you seriously unaware how hated you are amongst the medical profession? Was that tweet sarcasm?”

According to a poll in February, Hunt is the most disliked politician of any political party, with 65% of those questioned claiming he was doing a bad job as Health Secretary.

People think he’s doing a bad job but according to his PM and corporate masters he will considered as doing a good job, because his job is to privatise the NHS by any brutal means he can. Lies and hypocrisy are just two weapons in his arsenal.
You only have to ask any nurse!

Or doctor, or pretty much any other worker in the NHS.
I’ve yet to meet a single NHS worker of any type that doesn’t regard Jeremy rhyming slang as the worst piece of filth in the already abominable cabinet who’s wishes he so gleefully carries out.

Ah, but Hunt is what we oldies call “a bounder”. He is glib, has an attractive public face, but is rotten to the core.

Hunt has the unwavering humility of the medical profession on his side to exploit, which he does so with gusto, just as the DWP prey on the fragility of the disabled. So why do we have those from the medical profession who actively support the government welfare assessment regime by working for them, Methinks it’s not only ministers who have to examine their conscience before their wallet.

Hunt is a mediocre, talentless, dishonest and corrupt individual who keeps his job only because he is able and willing to destroy the NHS, and willing to be loathed and detested by the country as a whole.
