Labour Party purges grandmother for saying MPs like to look after number 1 !!! | Pride’s Purge

Last Updated: September 15, 2016By

Tom Pride is in top satirical form today:

The Labour Party has suspended a terminally ill grandmother for a supposedly offensive tweet she wrote on 16/09/2015.

A quick look at Viv Chance‘s tweets on that day show the only ‘offensive’ thing she wrote was that MPs “don’t all represent their constituents” and “look after number 1“:

160915-viv-chanceOutrageous! A member of the public accusing our glorious MPs of only looking after themselves! How dare she? Whatever next?

I feel so let down having been deceived by these MPs for so long. I don’t want to belong to a party with such people in administrative positions. I have been suspended from the party just when it needs every supporter it can get with a possible election in view and, unless Jeremy Corbyn is re-elected and these usurpers of political correctness thrown out of the party, I will not be seeking to rejoin. Sadly this is, of course, just what they want.

I don’t think you have cause to worry.

You should read more closely: the accusation of sarcasm is clearly what offended.
The acusee clearly loves your Leader dearly and was mortified at the suggestion that they have anything less than boundless loyalty to him…

Are these politicians so thin skinned that they are unable to accept any criticism? Are we not proud that in this country there is a long history if free speech? The lady appears not to have made any racist or hate remarks in her post so on what “legal” grounds have they taken the action they have? Or do they consider themselves to be above the law and free to do what they like? If only they could see how infantile and stupid they look to any reasonably minded person and moreover how short sighted their vindictive campaign is. When JC gets elected for the SECOND time on 24th do they not see that the sword of damacles will be hanging over them ready to swish and end their unillustrous careers?

I’m afraid to say the MPs only have themselves to blame if in the end their clps don’t think their representative of constituents , and the person labeling this poor lady dumb needs to hang his head in shame.
It’s almost as if they can’t and won’t win the argument they shout peopke down, I wonder wether that person got. Purged

    Oh silly me !

You might like to compare your screen shots with a search of the lady’s tweets…
Why might she delete any, other than the one(s) she thinks has caused offence?

They’re not my screenshots. Please take it up with Pride’s Purge – and send us a link to the results.

There is no “up” to be taken. I simply make the observation that the lady appears to have deleted one (or more?) of her tweets, and it is not the one that you (or rather Tom) thinks is the one that caused the problem…
