FAKE NEWS ALERT: Is Clive Lewis REALLY considering challenging Jeremy Corbyn?

Last Updated: February 10, 2017By

Clive Lewis MP.

Considering the amicable nature of Mr Lewis’s resignation from Labour’s Front Bench, plus the fact that Jeremy Corbyn has just won a major political victory over the Conservatives and Theresa May, a leadership challenge seems unlikely.

Clive Lewis, who quit the shadow cabinet before the Brexit vote, has begun sounding out MPs for support amid mounting speculation he will try to topple Jeremy Corbyn.

It follows Mr Lewis’s decision to resign his role as shadow business secretary, forcing Mr Corbyn to reshuffle his top team after the loss of one of his most talented MPs.

Plus the real giveaway that it’s a speculative fake; it’s in the Telegraph.

If Labour starts losing by-elections something must inevitably happen within the party surely? If Labour loses Copeland and Stoke-on-Trent Central, two seats that have been held by Labour since their creation in 1983 and 1950 respectively, how could Jeremy Corbyn really continue as leader until the next general election? Even though I am dubious that a change of leader would do much to improve Labour’s electoral chances as far as 2020 is concerned.

Please answer this if you can.
Why is it called Fake News in the West but Disinformation or Propaganda when it comes from East ?
Using the Media’s own manufactured term only lessens it’s impact (as intended) and makes vicious lies appear to be be little more than a forgivable bit of mischief.

Call it what it is – Propaganda.

      No, propaganda is different.

I do not think that Clive Lewis can be a talented and clever as they say. Jeremy Corbyn played his cards cleverly with Brexit, having supported it when trying to defeat it when it would have been a hopeless quest anyway, but leaving the door open for debate later on the type of brexit. It puts all of the eggs in Mays basket, and she holds them all.
I can understand a Minister disobeying the whip if they represent a constituency that voted heavily for remain. They want people to vote Labour of course. But resigning? That is just trouble making. JC and JM said they would be understanding in some cases.
