Levelling-up funding is being used to handle the consequences of Brexit – in RICH areas

Last Updated: September 11, 2022By Tags: , , , , ,

Brexit isn’t working: That’s what Kent Council has found – but to mitigate the harm, the third-richest council in the UK is trying to steal ‘Levelling-up’ funding from areas of genuine need.

Kent Council has claimed a large amount of money to deal with problems that Brexit has caused its traffic management.

But the money isn’t being requested from a ‘Brexit consequences’ fund.

The application is for ‘Levelling-up’ funds.

Kent Council is the third-richest in the United Kingdom. It shouldn’t be claiming any ‘Levelling-up’ cash.

But it is, because Tories give money to Tories – and never do anything that genuinely helps the deprived.

Hasn’t money already been promised for decent, dignified lorry parking facilities already?
The only other issue was during one weekend when Grant Shapps closed the M20 to regular holiday traffic and chaos ensued.
Since then the M20 has remained open and has been running great.

So exactly what Traffic Managent issue that causes deprivation that needs “levelling up” is being funded?

On holiday in North Devon all the usual pubs and eating places are either closed or they close early only work 4 days a week due to the lack of staff Brexit in a nut shell Oh of course you won’t see this reported on the TORY RUN BBC or in the tory Fleet Street Rags No point in coming to Devon again, WHEN WE WENT TO ANYWHERE IN THE EU we were so pleased with the locals always kind and helpful with no litter anywhere. Very sadly we have been duped into becoming another USA state with fat people everywhere dressed like clowns Thanks to our so called special relationship Europe has escaped this thank goodness WE can’t wait to get out of the corrupt country as soon as possible

Anybody surprised! This tory criminal Cartel only ever look after the wealthy. Those of us who don’t have much, and are struggling, are just worthless plebs to them…to take from us until they have taken all from us. They belong in prison!
