Vladimir Putin has annexed parts of Ukraine – that Russia has not conquered. WTF?
This is Putin’s response to Ukraine’s success in retaking huge swathes of territory from Russia.
He has made an illegal land grab, annexing parts of Ukraine that his armies have not even taken. The four annexed territories are: Kherson, Zaporizhzhia, Donetsk and Luhansk.
Under a law passed in Russia last year, this means it will be impossible to hand those territories back in any peace negotiations.
Here’s some commentary on that:
Putin has also announced mass mobilisation of people into his army – and is again threatening to use nuclear weapons.
Here’s Russell Howard on that:
This Writer doesn’t know how you feel about it, but I’m glad that Uri Geller is using “mind power” to deflect any nuclear weapons aimed at the UK!
Let’s all remember, though, that Ukraine’s fightback is continuing at speed – that country’s forces have recently retaking the city of Lyman in Donetsk. It makes a lie of Putin’s claim that his annexation is democratic and the people there want to be part of Russia:
Again, the words of Professor Tim Wilson appeal to This Writer:
Putin should go and sit in the Naughty Corner and have a think about what he’s been doing.
Have YOU donated to my crowdfunding appeal, raising funds to fight false libel claims by TV celebrities who should know better? These court cases cost a lot of money so every penny will help ensure that wealth doesn’t beat justice.

It’s all words without substance. Donetsk Republic as it is actually called and Lugansk Republic have to all intents and purposes been independent entities since 2014 and are not just composed of their capital cities. The taking of one city and current other threats will reach an iron wall of defence soon and the taking back of all temporarily held territories will follow. This from Telegram ‘Tornado will replace ‘Grad’ and ‘Smerch’. We have attended record production of MLRS. ‘Tornado – G’ 122 mm. ‘Tornado – S’ 300 my. This is a new modern weapon. The legendary Motovilikha from Perm has switched to three work shifts, that is, it makes such machines around the clock, setting a record’. There follows a description of the killing power of these weapons and it doesn’t make for pleasant reading for the UAR. Russia is gearing up from a relatively small force with limited aims to a total war strategy involving the entire nation and there can only be one outcome, the destruction of the enemy and a peaceful government in Kiev which will return to its neutral pre 2014 status. The talk of nuclear weapon use is being vastly exaggerated by the Western regime media. A few passing by comments by the Russian President have been twisted into a monstrous deluge of comment. Russia’s has declared its position on the use of nuclear weapons use many times. There are two clear scenarios on which it would use nuclear weapons and neither of them have anything to do with Ukraine. The first scenario is clear and simple. If Russia is attacked by nuclear weapons it would respond in kind. It doesn’t have a first strike nuclear policy unlike the Americans. The second scenario is also simple and clear. If Russia was invaded and its existence as a nation state was threatened it would then consider using its nuclear arms but for this to happen would require NATO to declare official war on Russia and to use all its armed forces capacity. Putin has never said that nuclear weapons would be used against Ukraine, in fact he has repeatedly said the opposite. Ukraine in itself and by itself and with the arms supply it is receiving from US and Europe cannot in any conceivable manner threaten the existence of the Russian Federation so the second scenario is ruled out in regard to this US led war against Russia in Ukraine. Russia is sane and rational. The Western regimes are not. This war was forced on Russia. The decision to go into Ukraine in February was not a strategic decision, it was entirely tactical. If they hadn’t come into Ukraine, it would have come into Donbass. Either way war was certain as this is what the US wanted and had been intensely planning since 2014. The situation would have been far worse for Russia if they hadn’t come into Ukraine when they did in February. So in that sense Russia has lost nothing but gained war experience against a determined enemy on its borders which is under the direction and orders of US and EU regimes. The tide will turn and the US EU UK funded enemy will be defeated,
I suppose it is too much to ask that the “Right To Self Determination” be granted to Russian speaking peoples, as decreed by the Paris Treaty and the UN resolution the subject matter, presumably because they are “untermenschen” and therefore not allowed what is granted to other nations?
It reminds me of that word meaning double standards. What the devil is it? Hippopotamus, Hippocampus…got it….Hypocrisy!
Really? Take a deep breath, exhale, relax. Russia is going to crush Ukraine. Thanks for the video, our very own rebel from the streets, just like George Carlin. Didn’t watch, sorry. We don’t have a license in our slum.
