Israel cut Gaza’s power, then sent an ‘urgent’ evacuation warning. Who could hear?
If I do this using posts from ‘X’ – that are time-stamped – hopefully it will make more sense than just telling the story myself.
Here’s the first:
BREAKING: NBC CREW SEND MESSAGE FROM GAZA
“I’ve managed to get connectivity for a minute with a lot of difficulty and I wanted to let you know that all internet, electricity and everything has been cut off.
Every street is affected. People are carrying their dead and injured in… pic.twitter.com/UBGK4CCzfL

That was 4.21am. Then this happened:
An urgent message for the residents of Gaza: pic.twitter.com/GAW3a7lWt8
— Israel Defense Forces (@IDF) October 28, 2023
Who was supposed to hear that? They had no electricity to power their TVs and radios, and no Internet connectivity to hear it online.
US and UK media personalities have been making this point:
How are Palestinians in Gaza, who have had their electricity and internet communications cut off by the Israeli military, supposed to hear/receive this ‘urgent’ message from the Israeli military? https://t.co/NLb6OAFBcg

How are they supposed to hear this msg if you’ve cut off their ability to communicate? https://t.co/cMEGDbBawc

Of course, there’s always some clever dick who thinks the leaflet campaign – papers dropped from the air onto the citizens of Gaza – should have been effective…
Israel has been dropping pamphlets for the last 2 weeks instructing civilians not wishing to fight the IDF on what parts to evacuate. pic.twitter.com/tThpOGqbjx

But people who had moved south had begun to move back north in defiance of it.
We can all see what was happening here, can’t we?
If not, here’s Adil Ray:
The Israeli government has cut off power, internet and communications. Then it issues a warning to millions to evacuate. On television. There will be more killings. Next week ministers will say the “Israeli government gave the Palestinian men, women and children advance warning”.

And as Israeli armed forces prepared to pound northern Gaza again, the citizens of that pummelled region were searching through the wreckage of their homes for survivors of the last attack – unaware that they were about to be hit again:

This is only happening because the rest of the world is doing nothing.
As Einstein once said: “The world will not be destroyed by those who do evil, but by those who watch them without doing anything.”
It could all be stopped tomorrow if our leaders could be bothered to reflect our opinions and decided to step in and demand peaceful negotiation.
It can work. It did in Northern Ireland.
And until it is tried, every drop of blood shed in Gaza is as much on Rishi Sunak and Keir Starmer’s hands – and those of every other lily-livered political mouthpiece across the world – as it is on those of Benjamin Netanyahu and the IDF.

Conservative Home’s Paul Goldman said this ‘Israel is damned if it does and damned if it doesn’t. If it doesn’t seek to eliminate Hamas, the latter will regroup, rebuild and re-pogram, wreaking atrocities so satanic, like those of October, that I cannot bear to imagine some of the details’. He obviously couldn’t care less about the satanic mass murder of civilians in Gaza by Israel.
You have to wonder if IDF have been given a figure as to how many Palestinians are to be killed before Israel and its backers would support some kind of ceasefire. I wouldn’t put past them an almighty 100,000 total, certainly to these monsters and their Western backers 8,000 deaths so far is chicken feed. These anti democratic war criminals would of course like to, lust for, millions of deaths but for that to happen they would have to go to war with Iran. Israel has long wanted to do to the Palestinians what they are doing now. Many have said that they knew about Hamas preparations but let them go ahead precisely to achieve a long held purpose.
