We have to respond to the pro-Israel bile on the social media
Apologists for Israeli genocide: every day, ordinary people take to their keyboards and turn themselves into trolls, propagandists and antagonists in favour of more killing in Gaza. They must be opposed.
Another day – another flood of bile from supporters of Israel.
This Writer responds to the posts that I see, and I try to do so from a rational perspective, even in the face of what seems to be outright lunacy.
Here are some of the messages I’ve seen today, with my responses.
Please – if you see any of these hate-filled messages, make a response to it. Make it thoughtful and civilised, but make the point that they are distorting or ignoring the facts.
Owen Jones has not demanded footage of a rape; he – correctly – said medical evidence was required to prove such a thing happened.
You are a liar and you are smearing a reputable journalist with your lie.
Retract and apologise. You should be closing your account over this.

Israel cannot eliminate Hamas entirely – in fact the current onslaught will only swell Hamas's ranks as those who have lost family and friends sign up to join.
And if you support Israel's genocide of civilians including children, you're the one who isn't pro-Palestine.

No – if they have died in an airstrike then Israel very definitely killed them. Israel did not have to launch airstrikes killing thousands of Gazans. Hamas have proved more trustworthy than Israel, whose propagandists have lied almost from the moment the October 7 attack began.

Dear Hamas.
Dear Likud.
I implore you.
For the sake of the Palestinian people.
For the sake of the Israeli people.
Please negotiate. Please stop the carnage.

from all walks of life. Some are Jewish, most are not, but they all believe that money is power & the idea of a fair & just wealth redistribution thru taxation & public works will somehow inhibit their lifestyles, all at the expense of spreading fear thru the Jewish community. 2/

the David v Goliath roles reversed, hence the international outcry against Netanyahoos Govt, which I believe does not represent the true spirit of Jewish people. How could it? Peace, Justice & reconcilliation in Palestine/Israel is the only way to prevent some kind of armageddon.
