What will voters do when they twig that Starmer Labour is Continuity Tory? Will they meekly lie down and allow themselves to be put through the same agony they’ve had for the last 15 years?
The economist Richard Murphy doesn’t think so – and has put his thoughts into this video clip:
The comments about Rachel Reeves are very entertaining; he’s basically saying her political life will be over, whether Labour gets elected into government or not, because her plans for the economy are so out-of-touch with what the people of the UK need.

Personally, though, This Writer does not think Keir Starmer will let her go without a fight. He’s too pig-headed.
That would turn voters away and give other parties a chance to gain seats at the next election – including the far right and possibly even an even more right-wing version of the Tories.
It’s too much of a risk. Better to abandon Labour in favour of genuine left-wing alternatives.
