It seems the UK will ignore international law on Israeli war crimes – and will continue objecting to the International Criminal Court issuing arrest warrants for those responsible.
Fellow politics website Skwawkbox reported that foreign secretary David Lammy, on a visit to Israel, has given assurances that the UK will continue to object to ICC prosecutor Karim Khan’s application to issue arrest warrants for Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and defence minister Yoav Gallant.

The announcement came soon after Jeremy Corbyn and other Independent MPs wrote to UK prime minister Keir Starmer, calling for the new Labour government to withdraw its objection, as Starmer had promised and in line with the UK’s international law obligations.
Skwawkbox says this is yet another policy u-turn from Starmer, who had previously indicated that he would allow international law to take its proper course.
This Writer is keen to hear what Mr Corbyn will have to say about it – along with everybody else who voted against Labour in protest at its support of a rogue and genocidal state.
