Here’s how you can help Jeremy Corbyn win in Islington North on #IndependentsDay. July 4 is a chance to show the Establishment political parties that we won’t let them walk all over us any more.
If you live in the constituency, pledge your support on his campaign website, https://www.votecorbyn.com/ and if you know people who live there, please send the following message (or something like it, appropriately worded for you) to them:
“Jeremy Corbyn is running as an independent candidate in Islington North. I’ve pledged to vote for him in the upcoming General Election on 4 July. You can join me by pledging your support here: https://www.votecorbyn.com/pledge. Let’s win in Islington North!”

If you’re not in that constituency but have a decent left-wing independent candidate standing in your own, you may wish to suggest that your candidate adopt these idease and those that follow – and/or share some campaigning ideas of their own…
Mr Corbyn said, “When I was first elected 40 years ago, I made a promise to my constituents that I would always stand up for equality, democracy and peace. In Islington North, we keep our promises. That is why I am standing as an independent candidate.
“With a snap election called for 4 July, I urgently need your help to get re-elected. My campaign doesn’t have the backing of any corporate donors or the infrastructure of a political party. We’re building this campaign up from scratch, relying on the support of people like you.
“To win this election, my team needs thousands of volunteers to leaflet, knock on doors, support our online campaign and more. We don’t have much time – can you sign up to volunteer?”
“And if you can afford to, would you consider making a donation to the campaign?”
Become a Jeremy Champion
This campaign is more than just an election; it’s a chance to bring real, transformative change to our community. But it won’t be easy. To make that happen, the Corbyn campaign needs passionate and committed individuals to take on a more active role: if he’s going to win, he’s going to need to identify 5000 Jeremy voters every week until July.
