#Brexit buffoon Hannan bombarded with ridicule over ‘nicer home’ claim
There’s no need to have sympathy for Brexiteer Daniel Hannan, who publicised an Express article on Brexit (featuring comments from him) with the following tweet:
Leaving the EU is a bit like moving to a nicer home. The move can involve stressful moments, but it's worth it. https://t.co/NMF0Gexj3I

He got what he deserved:
Sawing off one's own arm can be a terrifying prospect- but it's actually very liberating. Just do it. Trust me. https://t.co/5dzOqbqs5M

Hands up if you'd move to a house you'd never seen because a spivvy estate agent swore blind it was 'nicer' than your current lovely home. https://t.co/75dpQuFPNr

When you propose to buy a new house, you do so 'subject to survey', & if the survey proves bad, you wisely pull out of the purchase https://t.co/0FGeIAuAex

We bought it without seeing it, we don't know how much it will cost and the renovators have never done this before. What could go wrong? https://t.co/l6VD9qhZCZ

Well as an analogy it works, although we were conned by a bunch of spies when we were dumped into the “common market” and the project fear lies and propaganda that kept us in in 1975.
What a wally! OK until you can’t afford the rent/mortgage. Probably a Greesy-Mogg clone.
S’funny… To me it feels like being evicted and made homeless by bonehead racists and chinless wonders. Many people have never had a chance to move into something habitable, let alone ‘better’. But Tories don’t understand that.
To be fair, there is no appropriate analogy.
The man is a total prat.
