Damian Green’s credibility is falling apart – for these reasons

Last Updated: November 5, 2017By

Damian Green leaving 10 Downing Street. How long until he is told to stay away?

How long can the First Minister – Theresa May’s de facto deputy – continue to hold onto his position in the government as the evidence against him mounts?

Only yesterday (November 4), This Site published a piece featuring a statement said to have come from Mr Green, in which he rubbished claims by former Metropolitan Police Assistant Commissioner Bob Quick that pornography was found on a computer in his office, during a police inquiry into Parliamentary leaks.

But new information has already become available that makes his statement – and his future in government – questionable.

Firstly: It doesn’t matter that Mr Green says Mr Quick is a liar; the allegations have been supported by other witnesses:

Secondly: It doesn’t matter that the material allegedly found on the computer was legal. Anybody who uses computers in an office environment knows that having pornography of any kind on an office computer is an offence for which people lose their jobs.

Thirdly: Mr Green didn’t even write his own statement. It was sent to him by his Special Advisor, Dylan Sharpe – as Mr Green inadvertently admitted himself:

Finally: It turns out the Special Advisor in question – Dylan Sharpe, formerly worked at The Sun and has a certain relationship of his own with material of an explicit nature:

Fellow Conservatives Amber Rudd and Anna Soubry have both called for Mr Green to quit his role in government while the Cabinet Office investigates the allegations about him.

But the damage has been done. Mr Green’s name is tarnished. It is alleged that he used the internet to join a website that facilitates extra-marital sex (Ashley Madison), and that he – or someone in his office – used the internet to download and keep pornography. The man who wrote his response to the latter claim, we are told, sent photos of naked women to people who protested against the ‘Page 3’ photographs in The Sun.

People are already forming their own opinions – both about Mr Green and the government that still harbours him:

Yes we do. If Mr Green won’t go by himself, his whole party will have to go with him.

Now lets look at the truth about this government’s true agenda – The rest is smoke and mirrors. Most of us are aware of the fact Democracy died a long time ago and every word out of their mouths is Capitalist

Looks as if Green is going to hang on to the bitter end, but that will only make his downfall come with a bigger bang. I look on with amusement and contempt as these arrogant and nasty people are being shown up for the corrupt hypocrites they are.
