Michael Gove and Liz Truss: would it surprise anyone if she really did make him trade envoy to Columbia?

Was former cricketer Lord Botham made trade envoy to Australia because of his adversarial sporting relationship with that country’s representatives?

If so, then the people of the UK have come up with a few other ideas about the people vacant-eyed cheese-monger Liz Truss may be appointing to similar roles – and comment on how Botham is doing.

I would not be surprised to learn Rastamouse has been appointed as ‘little england’s trade envoy’ to the Carribean! I’m certain Rastamouse will enact a far better trade deal than that arrogant ex cricketer and women hater Botham! The crass stupidity and arrogance of the fascist tories with their little fascist dictator duck johnson as leader is astounding!

All that is needed to become a fascist tory MP is to declare undying allegiance to the fascist tory party! No need for specialist skills or expertise – Botham has none of these but look he’s now fake trade envoy to Australia.

So look forward to Botham uttering xenophobic and racist insults against the Australians!

Women hater? He’s had at least one extra-marital affair… does that mean he hates women? I don’t recall him actually trying to harm women (although I’m ready to stand corrected). Nor am I aware of him being racist (although again, I’m ready to stand corrected).

That said, I think he’s a rotten choice as a trade envoy.

Botham only got the job because Rolf Harris was unavailable.
