Fracking licences proliferate after Truss lifts ban on toxic shale gas extraction method

From Facebook: Under cover of the Queens death, Liz Truss lifted the fracking ban two days ago. A swathe of fracking licences across the country is the result. This drastically impacts housing plans and not least the controversial HS2 route through Warwicks, Staffords and Cheshire.

I remember Cameron squirming a bit when asked “Will Fracking reduce our bills?”, his reply was “Erm…no but it will make us more independent”.
Truth is that the Gas will be sold on the open market and only already wealthy corporations will benefit – not a drop nor penny will trickle down to here.
They say it works in the USA, although there have been “incidents” but the drilling is miles from civilisation, not on people’s doorstep in a small country like ours.

In Warwickshire HS2 has already obliterated acres of ancient woodland, now they want to add insult to injury and ruin our water supply, homes and well-being by enriching Tory Investors with Fracking – NO MORE!
