Zelenskyy bodyguard has Nazi patch. Is this the last word on Nazism in that country?
As the blurb for this video states, “For a country that ISN”T overrun with Nazis and Nazi sympathizers, Ukraine sure does seem to contain lots of folks sporting Nazi tattoos or patches on their clothing.
“The latest to be revealed is one of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky’s bodyguards, who was spotted during a visit to the recently liberated eastern Ukrainian city of Izyum sporting a so-called Totenkopfverbande patch, celebrating the guards who ran Nazi concentration camps and later made up Hitler’s personal guards.”

The evidence shows a Zelenskyy bodyguard wearing a Nazi clothing patch – and I notice you have nothing to say about that.
Of the two of us, it seems clear that I’m not the one who needs to get a grip.
The ‘key’ detail is for leibstandarte SS units.
Funnily enough if you google leibstandarte insignia, about halfway down the page is a twitter entry from ‘jimmysecuk’ showing identical patches on Russian soldiers. From April this year. Interestingly even the camera angle seems identical on the 2 patches.
Deaths head is nothing exceptional. These appeared on units of the Duke of Brunswick’s army circa 1813, and possibly on some Hessian units during American War of Independence. Military machismo goes back a long way!
The ‘key’ detail is link to the SS.
‘JimmySecUK’ is a toxic Twitter account that attacked Rose, the girl who (allegedly) suffered abuse at the hands of Rachel Riley and her followers in late 2018 for standing up for Jeremy Corbyn against a lie that Riley perpetuated. I wouldn’t trust anything coming from it.
