Israel's excuses for genocide are easily debunked now

Labour’s insincerity over the genocide has been summed up in one tweet

Israel/Gaza: Labour’s insincerity over the genocide has been summed up in one tweet.

Israeli forces are continuing their assault on Rafah – the part of Gaza they had promised would be safe for refugees from other areas to shelter from attack.

That country’s prime minister, Benjamin Netanyahu, is facing international condemnation over an air strike on Sunday (May 26, 2024) that murdered 45 people and injured hundreds more with burns, fractures and shrapnel wounds.

In the UK, Labour MPs – who are seeking re-election to Parliament in a general election on July 4, let’s remember – have responded by tweeting the same message; none of them could be bothered to type out their own thoughts about it.

Instead, it seems they have all decided to copy out an “official” line, probably dreamed up by some public relations flunkie, and trot it out as their own words. How they could possibly believe this would not be noticed is beyond me.

Here’s the evidence:

One can only agree with Dr Rizwaan Sabir: Labour’s position on the genocide in Gaza is an insult.

Can anyone doubt that this party, if allowed to run a UK government, would treat its own fellow citizens the same way?

No. And the purge of the left continues:

The incumbent MP in Brighton Kemptown has been de-selected as has the candidate in Chingford and Wood Green.

Do not vote Labour at this election (there may be one or two exceptions to this):
