If Jonathan Pie can get immigration right, why can’t our politicians? It’s a question that should hang in all our minds as the manifestos start flying.
Here’s the second of his video election specials, covering the history of government immigration policy since 2010, the reasons it hasn’t worked (quick summary: it was never meant to) and what needs to be done to fix it:
This Writer agrees with every word. I would – I have been saying exactly the same since I wrote Xenophobia back in 2013.
But of course This Site is not as popular as it used to be – probably because I called attention to the innate racism of Tory government policy.
Perhaps people will be more willing to listen to Pie.
