Not bad for a tiny “political comment” blog, written in between caring for a partner with long-term illnesses!

Vox Political continues to be one of the most influential members of the so-called ‘New Left Media’, despite having almost no resources at all, in comparison to some of the larger organisations – and despite sustained efforts by right-wing attackers to reduce the readership.

This Site has always tried to maintain a “common sense” approach to British politics. Rather than becoming attached to any political dogma, the aim has been to avoid the hysteria associated with mainstream news organisations that have an agenda to promote, to point out flaw, lies and disinformation, and to suggest reasonable solutions to current issues.

This work has been made more difficult in recent months, by the hysterical claims of anti-Semitism against This Site and its writer, which have their roots in an investigation into attacks on Labour politicians in 2016. I uncovered evidence that certain right-wing elements in our society wanted to remain hidden, so they cobbled together a series of nonsense claims in the hope that they would turn people away from Vox Political and put the site out of business. Shame on those who took them seriously!

The Site was harmed as a result, with circulation dipping in 2017. Now, as the public is starting to realise that the hysteria over anti-Semitism has been manufactured by right-wingers with an agenda, interest is slowly picking up again.

To all readers: Let’s get the next million in less time and send a message to the right-wing press – that the way forward is accurate reporting of facts, not partisan support for a government that hates the people.
